What is an Atmospheric water generator?

Our sky water machines extract moisture/water from the atmosphere through a condensation process, almost removing the water from the humidity around the unit. The machines then filter and purify that condensation through an numerious filtration systems to produce pure, healthy, drinking water.

Is there enough humidy where I live to produce water?

Yes ! Our units need a minimun of around 40% humidity to produce the maximun water production for that unit. The average humidity level in South Africa is around 70%.

Is it deificult to install the AWG?

Our smaller units ranging from 20L up to 50L PD require no plumbing, water lines or pipes. The Sky Water units are easily installed, essentially a plug-and-go installation. Our bigger units we can assist you in installing into your main water supply so you will be able to switch between municiple water or be completelly off the grid. We have a national team of technicains that will assist you with any instalation requirments.

Is it expensive to produce water from the sky water machines?

The 4th generation Atmospheric Water Generators are extremely efficient using minimal amounts of energy to produce water. A totally green efficient system that can also run on solar power.

How often will I need to change the filters on my AWG and is it hard to do?

The filters will need to be changed anywhere from 8 to 36 months after purchase. A change of your mineral, sediment and carbon filters every twelve months is recommended, while your RO can be changed every 2/3 years depending on the amount of dirt and sediment in your air. The filter pack is easy to change and install. The air filter should also be cleaned once a month or more if necessary which is easily done by yourself.

Are there any other benifits to having a Sky Water unit?

Yes! Sky Water units purify the air around you as well as acting as a dehumidifier.

What makes your drinking bottles eco friendly?

Our stainless steel and glass water bottles are good for the environment because they are reusable and can be used for a long period of time, but most importantly, it can be recycled once it reaches the end of its life.
